The Cultural Council of Palm Beach County to Host the Third Annual SMARTBIZ SUMMIT, 12/10

The daylong event consists of seminars presented by business leaders like William Koch, CEO of Oxbow Carbon LLC, who will discuss his personal philanthropic vision, and his views on how businesses and the arts relate. Interactive learning sessions for local businesses, not-for-profits and cultural organizations will take place throughout the day, including one by writer and consultant Andy Goodman, about how good causes can reach more people. PNC bank, the co-creator of SmARTBiz with the Cultural Council, is leading the financial wellness sessions. The Cultural Council is the official arts and culture support agency for Palm Beach County serving non-profit organizations, individual artists and arts districts. The Council markets the county's cultural experiences to visitors and residents, administers grants, expands arts and cultural education, advocates for funding and arts-friendly policies and serves the arts community through capacity building training and exposure to funders and audiences.
