Premier nights begins with Tony nominated actress/singer Lonette McKee and four-time Grammy Award Nominated jazz / R&B great Michael Henderson. "We are thrilled to bring an array of talent this large and historically significant to Harlem" said Gregory Shanck, Director of Aaron Davis Hall "This theater is historically a hot bed for raw talent, and we are aggressively making an effort to return that time to the Davis Hall stage."

Friday, November 2, 7PM - A Night to Remember Featuring Lonette McKee & Michael Henderson. A Night to Remember will be a dream for music lovers, as McKee will perform hits from Sparkle, Round Midnight, Lady Day and more. Henderson, long-time bass player of MiLes Davis, will bring members of the original MiLes Davis band to perform with him at A Night to Remember. Also McKee and Henderson will do a duet together for this one of a kind show. McKee, who starred in the hit 70’s classic Sparkle, which was recently re-made and released, has spent her life entrenched in the arts and music and is currently working on a new studio Jazz album.

Friday, November 16, 7PM - Opera Ebony, America’s longest surviving African American Opera Company begins the celebration of its 40th anniversary with a performance of Sass’ N Class. This production was originally conceived and directed by founder and music director, Wayne Sanders. Sass’ N Class, is an elegant evening reflecting smart, sophisticated songs and moods, all performed with great flair and pizzazz. The production is a celebration of America’s best popular music, joyously performed by singers with a jazz, pop and classical music merge.

Friday, December 14, 7PM & 9PM - An Evening with Paulette McWillaims -Telling Stories with The Nat Adderley Jr. Quartet. Experience the sultry, velvety tones of Jazz and R&B, sensation Paulette McWilliams at her show entitled Telling Stories. For years Paulette has recorded and toured with Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Quincy Jones, Marvin Gaye, Bette Midler, Johnny Mathis, Whitney Houston and so many more. Now, she is sharing her solo work with you in her Aaron Davis Hall debut.
