The Children's Acting Company is performing SEVEN MINUTES IN HEAVEN at the Theater at Blessed Sacrament.

SEVEN MINUTES IN HEAVEN playwright Steven Levenson is nominated for a 2017 Tony Award for Best Book of a Musical for DEAR EVAN HANSEN.

It's a Friday night in 1995 and Monday morning homeroom is a million miles away. Six over-stimulated, under-supervised high school students are gathered in Margot's basement to meet her mysterious boyfriend from summer camp -- though none of them have even seen a picture of him and he has yet to show up. As the teens keep themselves busy with rounds of party games, the night gives way to stolen kisses, malicious gossip, and broken hearts. This heartbreaking, hilariously real play showcases the absurd and terrible ecstasy of being young in America.

The play is directed by Mimi Stuart, and performed by Steven Abreu, Evan Archer, Danny Renkas, Violet Vale, Kailie Strutin and Carrie Lynch on Thursday, May 18 and Saturday May 20, and on Friday, May 19 and Sunday May 21 by Steven Abreu, Alex Chen, Jake Shipley, Alison Rogers, Savannah Leroy and Jillian Kimberling. All performers are aged 14-16.

All performances are at 7:30 PM at The Theater at Blessed Sacrament, 152 West 71st Street, east of Broadway. Tickets, $22.00, are available at www.iseats.net or at the door.
