Broadway Producer Jed Bernstein ( Driving Miss Daisy, Hair, Equus, Oleanna) , and Broadway actress Emma Zaks ( La Cage Aux Folles, Gypsy, Hair) will be launching a new two-day seminar that will teach up and coming actors the business behind the show as well as audition techniques.
Over the course of the two days, attendees will be introduced to NYC performer survival skills, audition tips, business basics, and they will have a chance to perform and receive personal feedback.
The cost of the seminar is $325 with a special $250 price for full time students.

Jed BernsteinAfter eleven years as President of the League of American Theatres and Producers,
Jed Bernstein launched "Above the Title Entertainment" a theatre/television
Production Company and marketing consultancy. Currently Jed is producing a newly re-imagined production of
Stephen Schwartz's Working in Chicago. Recent projects: the Broadway hit Driving Miss Daisy, starring
James Earl Jones,
Vanessa Redgrave, and
Boyd Gaines. Future projects: the London production of Driving Miss Daisy. Other past projects have included: the Off-Broadway critically acclaimed musical revue, Don't Quit Your Night Job, the seven-time Tony nominated Passing Strange, the smash revival of Equus starring
Richard Griffiths and
Daniel Radcliffe, the Tony Award-winning revival of Hair, and
David Mamet's highly acclaimed Oleanna starring
Bill Pullman and
Julia Stiles. Jed serves as Executive Director of the Commercial Theater Institute and serves on the board of the Actors Fund.
Emma ZaksEmma was raised in the theater and continues to call it home. She was last seen in the New York premier of 'Women's Minyan' directed by
Tovah Feldshuh. Other credits include; La Cage Aux Folles (Bway), Gypsy (Bway), and Hair (Bway). 101 Dalmatians (1st National Tour), Bye Bye Birdie (Encore! at
City Center), Her Song (Birdland), and Out of the Blue (Off-Bway). She is thrilled to be working with young aspiring actors and thanks them for their time and trust.
