Founded in 1986 by TBG co-Artistic Director Seth Barrish and Nate Harvey, The Barrow Grouphas become one of the preeminent performing arts training centers and theatre companies in New York City and the world. Next week will mark the 30th anniversary of the theatre company and acting school, which has fostered talents such as Anne Hathaway, Vera Farmiga, Denis O'Hare, Tony Hale, among others!

To celebrate, they are hosting a few events:

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS PARTY: On Thursday, June 2, guest playwrights will join Arlene Hutton to create three 5-minute original pieces that will be read by celebrity guests Alison Wright from FX's The Americans, Damages' Zach Booth, Homeland's Amy Hargreaves, LBJ's Michael Stahl-David, and TBG company member Tricia Alexandro. In addition to these fun performances, there will also be raffles, a DJ, and an open bar. The evening begins at 8PM and tickets are on sale for $50 or $60 at the door.

FUN FAMILY: New and old Barrow Group members are encouraged to bring their families for a day of fun on Saturday, June 4 - there will be games and activities for both children and adults alike, plus an informal script-writing class for the young ones under the guidance of TBG staff. At the end of the day, these new works will be shown on the TBG MainStage followed by a cupcake celebration. Tickets for this event includes 2 adults and any child under 18 in their household!

BIRTHDAY BASH: The pinnacle of this anniversary celebration, the official birthday bash on Saturday June 4 at 7pm (let the kids go home after Fun Family Day) will include fun activities, music, food, drinks, raffle prizes, and a throwback reading of a portion of one of TBG's early productions: BLUE WINDOW by Craig Lucas, featuring the original cast members and a special surprise walk down memory lane.

Tickets for all of these events can be purchased here.
