The American Tap Dance Foundation's “Rhythm In Motion” Concert Performance Returns  Image RHYTHM IN MOTION, the American Tap Dance Foundation's (ATDF) yearly performance showcase, will return to New York City on Wednesday July 11 at Peter Norton Symphony Space, 2537 Broadway at 95th Street at 8pm.

Top tap talent and emerging choreographers will offer a window into the forward thinking, innovative choreography driving the art form today. Directed and curated by American Tap Dance Foundation Artistic/Executive Director Tony Waag, Rhythm in Motion reveals the evolution of tap dance and the future of the medium.

Introducing new work by ATDF's "Artists in Residence," Rhythm in Motion 2018 will include choreography by Brinae Ali, Chloe Arnold, Christina Carminucci, Michelle Dorrance, Felipe Galganni, Ana Rokafella Garcia, Lisa La Touche, Charles Renato, Tamii Sakurai, Delores Sanchez, Leo Sandoval, Samara Seligsohn, Caleb Teicher and Nicholas Van Young.

Rhythm in Motion is a theatrical platform enabling the art form to present, move forward and grow. The American Tap Dance Foundation has been lauded for preserving the history of tap dance, as well as inspiring its evolution.

TAP CITY will return Saturday, July 7 through Friday, July 13 in celebration of The New York City Tap Festival's 18th year. Local and international tap dance artists, master classes, a tap dance boat tour around Manhattan, Tap Dance Awards, a Rhythm in Motion Concert Performance and "Tap it Out," a free outdoor tap dance event in the middle of Times Square, are among the Festival Week's offerings.
