The Laurie Beechman Theatre, located within The West Bank Café (407 West 42nd St.), will continue The After Party with a visit by Fame Becomes Me star Donna Vivino on Friday, March 30th.
On March 2nd, Donna Vivino will be the special guest performer. Vivino most recently appeared on Broadway in Martin Short's Fame Becomes Me. She made her Broadway debut in Les Miserables on March 12, 1987, when she originated the role of Young Cosette. After leaving Les Miz, Vivino worked in television and eventually made her first feature film: Married To It. After a successful stint at Columbia University where she played many featured roles, Vivino returned to Broadway in Saturday Night Fever. She graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University with a B.A. in English. She has taught master classes and workshops for Camp Broadway, Dance Designs, Fair Lawn Community School and Weehawken High School. After touring with Hairspray, she joined the world premiere cast of The Opposite of Sex in San Francisco with Karen Ziemba and Kerry Butler. She has also been seen in the Broadway cast of Hairspray. Vivino currently resides in New Jersey and continues to teach at Weehawken High School while performing.
