WET Productions is pleased to announce the launch of The 2009 INKubator Summer Series, a unique and intimate look into new plays featured in three double features by the most dynamic women creating theater today. For three consecutive Monday evenings beginning June 15th at the DR2 Theatre, WET Productions invites the public to come explore and enjoy free readings by Guggenheim Fellow and Obie Award Winner Melissa James Gibson, three time Emmy Award Nominee, Cusi Cram and Princess Grace Award Winner, and Six Feet Under alum, Kate Robin.
Followed by the extraordinary talents of two of the hottest and most hilarious women taking the comedy world by storm- Eliza Skinner and Glennis McMurray, otherwise known as the unstoppable, musical improv duo, I Eat Pandas. WET's 2009 INKubator Summer Series is an opportunity to catch this work while it's heating and hatching. Plus, special refreshments and snacks available between shows. Celebrate the coming of summer, WET-style this June. See one, see two or see them all!
This double feature summer festival has been co-curated by acclaimed theater director Josh Hecht (Director of Slasher, 2009 Humana Festival, Director of Drama Desk Award Winning Christine Jorgenson Reveals) and the dynamic duo, Sasha Eden and Victoria Pettibone. The series is produced by WET Productions, a non-profit organization that produces media which challenges female stereotypes and advocates for equality.
