Just confirmed today, Broadway is coming to the Blue Ridge! Broadway royalty Terrence Mann (star of Broadway's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, LES MISERABLES, THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, CATS, and next season's TUCK EVERLASTING) and Charlotte d'Amboise (star of Broadway's PIPPIN, CHICAGO, SWEET CHARITY, A CHORUS LINE and CONTACT) are coming to Lynchburg, VA, February 1-2, 2016.

The Triple Arts Broadway Series is a musical theatre intensive designed to give aspiring performers the opportunity to build a strong foundation of confidence and skills across the triple arts of the trade: singing, dancing, and acting. Triple Arts was founded by Broadway veterans, Terrence Mann (Finding Neverland/Tuck Everlasting) & Charlotte d'Amboise (Pippin/Chicago.)
Together, Terrence and Charlotte have comprised a comprehensive, performance-driven set of classes and master demonstrations that allow participants to work one-on-one with top industry professionals. The program culminates in a final performance showcasing students' new mastery of the styles and techniques needed to become a competitive triple threat and essential company member in today's world of musical theatre entertainment.

Terrence Mann has originated some of the most memorable roles in recent Broadway history. His career has spanned 3 decades. From his breakout performance as the rock 'n roll Rum Tum Tugger in CATS to his critically acclaimed Tony nominated turn as Inspector Javert in Les Miserable. Mr. Mann has constantly reinvented his abilities to fit the musical theatre world. His portrayal of The Beast in Beauty and the Beast garnered him his second Tony nomination as well as a Drama Desk Nomination and an Outer Critic Circle nomination. In 2013 he earned his third Tony nomination and won the Outer Critic Circle award for his dynamic performance as King Charlemagne in the smash hit revival of PIPPIN. Terry is currently playing the dual roles of Charles Frohman/Hook in the Broadway hit Finding Neverland and in February starts rehearsal for the Broadway premiere of Tuck Everlasting. On Netflix critically acclaimed original series SENSE8, Mr. Mann is Mr. Whispers.

In film and television he appeared as Bob on the Sci-Fi Channel's series, The Dresden Files. Other film and television appearances include: Critters, A Chorus Line, Big Top Pee Wee, Solar Babies, Love Monkey, SMASH, 30 Rock, Law and Order, Mrs. Santa Claus,American Revolution, One Life to Live and As the World Turns (Emmy Nomination.)
He is the Director/Composer for the musical adaptation on Romeo & Juliet. He is founding Artistic Director of the Carolina Arts Festival. He also served as Artistic Director of the North Carolina Theatre for 10 years. He now serves as professor and endowed chair of Musical Theatre program at Western Carolina University. He and his wife, Charlotte d'Amboise, conduct the Triple Arts Broadway Series musical theatre intensives.
A veteran of numerous Broadway shows, Charlotte d'Amboise was nominated for the prestigious Tony Award for her performance as Cassie in the Broadway revival of A Chorus Line. Most recently, Charlotte was seen in the Broadway revival of Pippin in the role of Fastrada, for which she won the Fred Astaire Award. Other Broadway shows include Roxie in Chicago (Drama Critics Circle Award, The Ovation Award, The Bay Area Theatre Award), Lola in Damn Yankees (Fred Astaire Award), Charity in Sweet Charity (Fred Astaire Award) and Anita as well as other featured roles in Jerome Robbins' Broadway (Tony Award Nomination.) Other Broadway shows include Contact, Company and Cats. She has also appeared in numerous Off-Broadway and regional productions.Throughout her career onstage, she has worked alongside several legendary directors including Bob Fosse, Jerome Robbins, Michael Bennett, Peter Martins, Rob Marshall, Ann Reinking, Debbie Allen, Gillian Lynn, Rob Ashford, Diane Paulus, Walter Bobby and George Balanchine.
Charlotte can be seen in the acclaimed documentary of real-life dancers as they struggle through auditions for the Broadway revival of A Chorus Line entitled, Every Little Step. Charlotte has also been seen in numerous films and TV shows, most recently in the acclaimed independent movie, Frances Ha.
