Teatro Estacion Brings THEATRE DU ROND POINT to Panama 1/31 - 2/1

THEATRE DU ROND POINT is coming to Teatro Estacion in Panama on January 31st and February 1st, 2019.

Ladies, gentlemen, spectators, spectators.
We propose you to enjoy three pieces by Antón Chéjov, a Russian author who left us a little over a century ago ... By profession, doctor and poet, he bequeathed us a delightful work. We adore the mocking face of the dramatist. Two words, like the distant echo of a subtle glance towards humanity, resound in Chekhov's grave: "Poor devils ..." He would have uttered them without contempt and even with tenderness, with a benevolent smile at the corner of his mouth ...

In this work we present the catastrophic situations of three pieces of Chekhov: Petition of Hand, Anniversary and The Song of the Swan . Family, Bank, Theater ... with "poor devils" as protagonists. Three light works, where sadness and drama are exhibited with laughter, absurdity and poetry. There we are caricatured with love, mistreated at pleasure. Antón Chéjov possessed an effervescent humor, a criticism without concessions and an indisputable sense of theater.

Let us delight in this writing and hope that, after the show, that Antón Chéjov smile, the same smile, will be present and will last in all faces.
