Team Awesome Robot to Present RUSH

Team Awesome Robot, a new theater collaborative, is pleased to announce the production of Callie Kimball's new playRush directed by Team Awesome Robot's Artistic Director Christopher Diercksen. Rush will be playing a three-week engagement at The Paradise Factory (64 E 4th Street, NY, NY 10003). Performances begin Friday, October 9th and continue through Sunday, October 25th, 2015. Press are invited to all performances.

The Yukon Gold Rush, 1899. Belinda and Frank stand at the threshold of a new life; a new century in lawless Dawson City but only if they can escape the horrors of their past. Who are these people, what chases them, and will the law find them? Fractured and poetic, Rush asks whether escaping your past only makes it haunt you all the more.

The production features Samantha Fairfield Walsh, Christopher Norwood, Lauren Nordvig, Charley Flyte, Ryan George, and Michael Markham.

The production team includes Jennifer Neads (Scenic/Properties Design), Chelsie McPhilimy (Lighting Design), Beth Lake (Sound Design), Ryan McCurdy (Composer), and Rebecca Joy Wallace (Costume Design). The play is produced byChristopher Diercksen and Yvonne Hartung, co-founders of Team Awesome Robot. Rivka Friedlander is the production stage manager. Rhiannon Tasker is the production manager.

Rush plays the following schedule: October 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, 23, 24 at 8 p.m. and October 11, 18, 25 at 5 p.m.
