TWITTER WATCH: HAMILTON's Lin-Manuel Miranda's #HamOfThrones Mash-up Inspires Revolutionary GAME OF THRONES Tweets

The trend seems to have started months ago with the Twitter account @HamiltonAsTV, which sent out tweets and created memes that mashed up Lin-Manuel Miranda's smash hit Broadway musical with television favorites. 2,500 followers later, fans naturally started creating their own entries.

It wasn't long before HBO's long-running fantasy drama "Game of Thrones" was recruited as #HamofThrones.

But apparently, none of this had reached Lin-Manuel Miranda, so yesterday when he sent out his own #HamOfThrones he included the hashtag #HasThisBeenDone.

And that's all it took for Miranda's 448,000 Twitter followers to start matching up "Game of Thrones" moments with HAMILTON lyrics. #HamOfThrones has been blowing up the Internet since.

Of course, Miranda's own right hand man, arranger, orchestrator and musical director Alex Lacamoire went the extra mile.

The new musical Hamilton has book, music and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award-winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda, who also plays the title role. The musical is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehlerand music direction and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. Hamilton is inspired by Ron Chernow's biography "Alexander Hamilton."
