TWITTER WATCH: HAMILTON's Lin-Manuel Miranda's Bio From First Piano Recital

HAMILTON's Lin-Manuel Miranda has pretty much been the toast of the town since his revolutionary musical made the move from The Public Theater to Broadway. But so many success stories have humble beginnings and for Miranda it was at a piano recital playing "Camptown Races" when he was six years old.

His bio reads: "Lin-Manuel Miranda is six years old and is currently attending Hunter Elementary School in NYC where he studies, reading, science, French, computers, and art. Lin-Manuel loves to draw and aspires to be a famous artist. Other interests include puzzle-games, baseball and collection Wacky cards. Lin plans to visit his grandmother in Puerto Rico this summer and to acquire a Python snake."

The new musical Hamilton has book, music and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award-winning composerLin-Manuel Miranda, who also plays the title role. The musical is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and music direction and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. Hamilton is inspired by Ron Chernow's biography "Alexander Hamilton."

HAMILTON is the acclaimed new musical about the scrappy young immigrant Alexander Hamilton, the $10 Founding Father who forever changed America with his revolutionary ideas and actions. During his life cut too short, he served as George Washington's chief aide, was the first Treasury Secretary, a loving husband and father, despised by his fellow Founding Fathers and shot to death by Aaron Burr in their legendary duel.
