TOsketchfest Presents The Rumoli Brothers, Dance Animal, Flo & Joan and More

The Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival (TOsketchfest) today announces the first wave of programming with highlights from the Festival Series. TOsketchfestwill host over 60 sketch comedy acts from across North America, March 1-12, 2017 at The Theatre Centre, Comedy Bar and The Drake Underground.

The 12th Annual TOsketchfest will feature a large and diverse variety of shows in their Festival Series including the singin' and dancin' duo The Rumoli Brothersfeaturing Kurt Firla and Brandon Firla (Suits), musical comedy viral sensation Flo & Joan (The 2016 Song), a revival of the 2016 Fringe favourite Dance Animal, comedic slam poetry duo Definition of Knowledge, a live late night talk show Tonight's the Night! with Dave Barclay, and Justin Miller's drag alter ego Pearle Harbour.

TOsketchfest will also showcase a selection of Toronto's top solo sketch performers such as Marty Topps, Jon Blair, and Full Time Idiot aka Kirsten Rasmussen; super troupes such as #1 Very Good Boys with Mark Little (Mr. D) and Andrew Bush (Picnicface), S&P with Kevin Whalen, Isaac Kessler, Cameron Algie and Matt Folliott, and Soul Decision with Kevin Vidal (Workin' Moms) and ChristIan Smith; and 2016 TOsketchfest award winners The Flirty Boys, O Dat Dum, and Vest of Friends.

The Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival is Canada's premier festival celebrating scripted, ensemble comedy. It's 12 days of hilarity on 5 Toronto stages featuring over 200 comedians. Since 2005 the Festival has brought sketch comedy to wider audiences with ticketed and free performances showcasing hundreds of emerging comedians and a slate of top-flight headliner acts such as Kate McKinnon, The Kids in the Hall, This is That, Michael Ian Black, Gavin Crawford, and The Irrelevant Show.
