Manhattan Theatre Club's Broadway production of Donald Margulies' TIME STANDS STILL directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan (The Homecoming, Proof, Rabbit Hole) will open tonight at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street).

The cast features acclaimed actor and playwright Eric Bogosian (Talk Radio, "Law & Order: CI"), Tony Award nominee Brian d'Arcy James (Shrek, Off-Broadway's Next to Normal), Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Laura Linney ("John Adams," Sight Unseen on Broadway), and Golden Globe Award nominee Alicia Silverstone (Clueless, "Miss Match").

The creative team for TIME STANDS STILL includes John Lee Beatty (scenic design), Rita Ryack (costume design), Peter Kaczorowski (lighting design), Darron L West (sound design), Peter Golub (original music), and Thomas Schall (fight direction).

Sarah and James, a photographer and a journalist (Laura Linney and Brian d'Arcy James), have been together for nine years and share a passion for documenting the realities of war. But when injuries force them to return home to New York and their circle of friends (Eric Bogosian and Alicia Silverstone), the adventurous couple confronts the prospect of a more conventional life. This timely and intelligent play marks the fourth collaboration for Pulitzer Prize winner Donald Margulies and Tony Award-winning director Daniel Sullivan.
