This week, the revival production of ANYTHING GOES, now playing at the Stephen Sondheim Theater announced the Snap a Sailor Contest! Participants are invited to hit the streets of NYC with cameras in hand, keeping an eye out for visiting sailors. When you see a sailor, snap away and take as many photos as you can with the visiting sailors. Once you have your shot selections, CLICK HERE to submit and get all of your friends to vote! May 23, the 2011 Drama Desk Awards Ceremony took place at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan. The Book of Mormon, Anything Goes, War Horse and The Normal Heart were the night's big winners, and The Awards ceremony was hosted by Harvey Fierstein. Click here for more photos from the event!

The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts' production of Stephen Sondheim and James Goldman's FOLLIES officially opened last night, May 21, 2011 after previews which began May 7. The cast features two-time Tony winner Bernadette Peters, four-time Tony nominee Jan Maxwell, two-time Tony nominee Danny Burstein, Ron Raines and Olivier Award winner Elaine Paige. Stage and screen star Patrick Stewart stars in the Royal Shakespeare Company production of THE MERCHANT OF VENICE, directed by Rupert Goold. Set in Las Vegas, the production runs through October 4. For additional production shots, click here!

This week on 'Dancing with the Stars,' Pittsburgh Steeler Hines Ward and his partner Kym Johnson won the ultimate prize and went home with the coveted mirror ball trophy, leaving Kirstie Alley and Chelsea Kane just one step short of the Season Twelve title. Cirque du Soleil's all-new acrobatic spectacle ZARKANA is currently in rehearsals for its debut at Radio City Music Hall in New York. The $50 million production has been created especially for the landmark theater, where it will begin previews June 9, prior to an official opening June 29. This week on ‘American Idol,' country crooner Scotty McCreery beat out Lauren Alaina and earned the title of ‘Season Ten Champion.' This year's finale featured performances from music legends suh as: Judas Priest, Gladys Knight, Tony Bennett, Tom Jones, Carrie Underwood, Lady Gaga, and Beyonce. SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark made its first television performance since reopening for previews on the AMERICAN IDOL stage for the show's season finale.SPIDER-MAN himself, Reeve Carney, joined U2's Bono and The Edge this Wednesday for a special performance of 'Rise Above' - the single of which is available for sale now.
