Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, currently playing at the Savoy Theatre, stars Olivier, Tony and BAFTA award winning Robert Lindsay and Rufus Hound as the conmen Lawrence Jameson and Freddy Benson competing for the riches and the heart of the young impressionable heiress, Christine Colgate (played by Katherine Kingsley). The musical is based on the legendary 1988 film starring Michael Caine and Steve Martin, directed by Frank Oz. It will be the UK premiere of this new production, which has been reconceived and reimagined for the UK stage. Check out photos of the cast in action here!

The stars of Broadway's If/Then, which opened March 30, took to the red carpet in an opening night celebration - and BroadwayWorld was there for the festivities! The show marks Idina Menzel's return to Broadway and reunites the star with her former Rent co-star, Anthony Rapp. LaChanze and James Snyder also star. What do you really know about your neighbors? Toni Collette, Michael C. Hall, Tracy Letts and Marisa Tomei invite you to find out. The Realistic Joneses is currently in previews, with an official opening night on Sunday, April 6, 2014. The production is directed by Obie Award-winner Sam Gold and comes to Broadway after a critically-acclaimed run at the Yale Repertory Theatre in 2012. The National Corporate Theatre Fund honored Tony and Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth, and the Edgerton Foundation, for their leadership in the arts at the NCTF 2014 Chairman's Awards Gala last week. Known to most as Glinda from Wicked, Broadway legend and Tony and Emmy Award Winner Kristin Chenoweth received the "Theatre Artist Award" at the Gala. Kyle Dean Massey (Next to Normal, Wicked) and Ciara Renée (Big Fish) assumed the roles of "Pippin" and "Leading Player" respectively in the Tony Award-winning musical Pippin this past week. PIPPIN tells the story of a young prince on a death-defying journey to find meaning in his existence. Will he choose a happy but simple life? Or will he risk everything for a singular flash of glory? The show is noted for many Broadway standards including "Corner of the Sky," "Magic To Do," "Glory," "No Time at All," "Morning Glow," and "Love Song." STAGE17, a new digital platform that specializes in original and curated entertainment for the Internet, recently held its launch party at the Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center. STAGE17 presents a digital experience for audiences in which quality, originality, and ease of use are paramount. It is aimed at a growing community of tech-savvy individuals, with a strong interest in theater and entertainment, for whom there is currently no dedicated digital platform. Idina Menzel, star of Broadway's If/Then and the recent hit movie Frozen, stopped by the Today Show earlier this week for a special performance. If/Then follows Elizabeth (Menzel) as she rebuilds her life in New York, a city of infinite possibilities - a city where choice and chance collide. The Cripple of Inishmaan, by Martin McDonagh, starring Daniel Radcliffe and the critically acclaimed West End cast and directed by Tony Award-winner Michael Grandage, will open on Broadway Sunday, April 20. The Cripple of Inishmaan comes to Broadway following its sold out run last summer at the West End's Noel Coward Theatre.
