The evening's big winners included ONCE for Best Musical, CLYBOURNE PARK for Best Play and DEATH OF A SALESMAN for Best Revival of a Play and PORGY & BESS for Best Revival of a Musical. Off-Broadway's Irish Repertory Theatre presented a concert performance of Lionel Bart's OLIVER! for its 2012 Annual Benefit Gala at The Shubert Theatre, helmed by Charlotte Moore. The all-star company was led by Brian Stokes Mitchell, Tony Award-winner for KISS ME, KATE, as Fagin; James Barbour (A TALE OF TWO CITIES) as Bil Sykes; and Tony-nominee Melissa Errico (AMOUR) as Nancy. Off-Broadway theater company Playwrights Horizons celebrated its annual Spring Gala on June 11th at the event space 583 Park Avenue. Titled “The Highest Standard”, the evening celebrated its five Pulitzer Prize-winning productions and honor the creators of these memorable works for the theater. The honorees were James Lapine (Sunday in the Park with George), Bruce Norris (Clybourne Park), Stephen Sondheim (Sunday in the Park with George), Alfred Uhry (Driving Miss Daisy), Wendy Wasserstein (The Heidi Chronicles) and Doug Wright (I Am My Own Wife). On June 11, The Broadway cast of Rock Of Ages celebrated the upcoming Rock Of Ages film at the Regal E-Walk Stadium Theaters in Times Square. The film opened in theaters today, June 15, 2012 and stars Tom Cruise as Stacee Jaxx, along with Diego Boneta as "Drew," and Julianne Hough as "Sherrie.” For more photos from the festivities, click here.

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater presents the 2011 Tony Award-winning production of Larry Kramer’s The Normal Heart. George C. Wolfe, who directed the show’s sold-out Broadway engagement last season, is mounting the professional D.C.-area premiere of this production, which features returning Broadway cast members Patrick Breen and Luke MacFarlane, among others. The Public Theater began previews on Tuesday, June 5, for AS YOU LIKE IT, the first show of The Public’s 50th Anniversary season at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park--home of free Shakespeare in the Park. Directed by Daniel Sullivan, AS YOU LIKE IT will continue for four weeks through Saturday, June 30, with an official press opening on Thursday, June 21. Click here for more production shots!

First You Dream: The Music of Kander & Ebb opened at the Kennedy Center last on June 13, where it plays in the Eisenhower Theater through July 1, 2012. The show stars Heidi Blickenstaff, James Clow, Alan H. Green, Leslie Kritzer, Patina Miller, and Matthew Scott. Originally produced at Signature Theatre in Virginia and co-conceived by David Loud and Eric Schaeffer, the production features music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and is directed by Eric Schaeffer. Roundabout Theatre Company in association with Don Gregory, is presenting the new Broadway production of Mary Chase’s Harvey, starring Jim Parsons (Elwood P. Dowd), Jessica Hecht (Veta Louise Simmons), Charles Kimbrough (William R. Chumley, M.D.), Larry Bryggman (Judge Omar Gaffney), and Carol Kane (Betty Chumley).
