Already one of the biggest shows this past season at The Public Theater, HAMILTON is ready to make a splash on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre starting in July 2015. Creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr., Reneé Elise Goldsberry and the entire cast sat down and met the press before they launched into their first wave of rehearsals. And if this yearbook photo of the cast wasn't good enough, Lin-Manuel Miranda took to Twitter to request photoshoppers to insert Jonathan Groff into the photo. The 2015/16 Off-Broadway play season is already in full swing and on June 18th, SIGNIFICANT OTHER opened at the Laura Pels Theatre in NYC. Significant Other tells the story of Jordan Berman (Gideon Glick), a down-on-his luck twenty something who is just trying to find Mr. Right. Luckily he has his three closest, tight knit girlfriends, Laura (Lindsay Mendez), Kiki (Sas Goldberg) and Vanessa (Carra Patterson), to help ward off lonely nights in NYC. But nothing stays perfect forever, as singles' nights turn into bachelorette parties and weddings. Jordan soon discovers that being happy for your friends as they find love is almost as impossible as finding love itself. BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL is keeping it in the family. This week the musical announced that Abby Mueller will be taking the role of Carole King on the road this September. Abby Mueller is the older sister of Tony Award winner Jessie Mueller, who won her Tony Award for originating the role of Carole King on Broadway in 2014. Beautiful will launch its First National Tour this September at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Rhode Island (September 15-20) before hitting cities that include Washington D.C. (Kennedy Center, October 2015), Boston (Boston Opera House, November 2015), Fort Lauderdale (The Broward Center for the Performing Arts, May 10 - 22, 2016) and more. On Your Feet!, the new musical based on the life story of seven-time GRAMMY winning international superstar Gloria Estefan and her husband, legendary producer-musician-entrepreneur Emilio Estefan, is currently in its pre-Broadway World Premiere run in Chicago at the Oriental Theatre, playing now through July 5, 2015. ON YOUR FEET tells the story of two people who - through an unwavering dedication to one another and their pursuit of the American dream - showcased their talent, their music and their heritage to the world in a remarkable rise to global superstardom. Set to Gloria's chart-topping, smash hits such as "Rhythm Is Gonna Get You," "Conga," "1-2-3," "Get On Your Feet," "Don't Want To Lose You Now," and "Coming Out Of The Dark," in addition to new music penned by the Estefans. Twenty eight years after its debut, one of the most successful plays in West End history returns to Scarborough where it all began. THE WOMAN IN BLACK has been especially cast for the 60th anniversary year of the Stephen Joseph Theatre where the play premiered in 1987. The production runs from 19 June to 2 August and, uniquely, this will be the first chance to see the new actors in the play before they transfer to London's Fortune Theatre. The production brings together the original director and designer, Robin Herford and Michael Holt, and the first father and son casting, Christopher and Tom Godwin. For more photos visit here.

Who's the Boss? Tony Danza was honored this week by Inside Broadway alongside renowned opera singer Renée Fleming, who starred on Broadway this season in Living on Love. Danza starred on Broadway this season in Honeymoon in Vegas. The annual award show took place at The JW Marriott Essex House (160 Central Park South). The Broadway Beacon Awards are presented to individuals in the theatre and Times Square community who have been advocates for increasing the audience for live theatre and for understanding the importance of Arts and Education in the lives of New York City's young people. The UK premiere of ONE ARM, inspired by the blisteringly powerful, unproduced Tennessee Williams screenplay, has opened at Southwark Playhouse. Scroll down to take a look at the production photography by Alex Brenner. One Arm tells the story of Ollie Olsen - a character as unforgettably moving as the most iconic of Williams' creations. After a devastating accident ends his boxing career, the former champion of the Pacific Fleet believes his once-invincible body to be irreparably broken. When his eyes are opened to the market value of his tragic beauty, Ollie turns to selling his final asset in order to survive. Jonathan Groff seems to be having a blast in rehearsals for A NEW BRAIN. Groff alongside, Jenni Barber, Quentin Earl Darrington, Bradley Dean, Dan Fogler, Ana Gasteyer, Josh Lamon, Aaron Lazar, Alyse Alan Louis and Rema Webb will soon star in the Encores! Off-Center production of William Finn andJames Lapine's A New Brain, running June 24 - 27, 2015. The production will be directed by James Lapine, with choreography by Josh Prince. A New Brain is inspired by William Finn's personal experiences, is a medical tragedy seen through the iris of a Looney Tunes short. After struggling composer Gordon Michael Schwinn (Jonathan Groff) collapses face-first into a plate of spaghetti, he is diagnosed with a brain tumor and is forced to come to terms with his creative ambitions and the lovable screw-ups in his life: an overbearing mother (Ana Gasteyer), a ruthless kiddie-show host (Dan Fogler), and a boyfriend who'd "rather be sailing" (Aaron Lazar).? Last weekend, AN AMERICAN IN PARIS celebrated the release of their original cast album with a concert event at Barnes and Nobel. Robbie Fairchild, Leanne Cope, Max von Essen, Brandon Uranoqitz and Jill Paice took the stage to sing some of the classic numbers from thei Tony Award winning new musical. Based on the 1951 Academy Award winning film of the same name, An American in Paris tells the romantic story of a young American soldier, a beautiful French girl and an indomitable European city, each yearning for a new beginning in the aftermath of war.
