The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) will present THIS IS 30! a special one-night-only engagement on July 9th, 2014 at 9pm at The Laurie Beechman Theater at the West Bank Cafe.

"This is 30", starring NYMF's 'Next Broadway Sensation' 2013 winner Erica Lustig is the musical tale of a girl with the eating habits of a toddler, the backaches of an old-timer, and the spirit of a teenager who has unexpectedly found herself trapped in the body of a 30-year-old. An intimate evening of wit, heart, and comedy, Lustig will venture on a light-hearted journey to explore the up's and downs of 30 featuring some pop hits, jazz and Broadway favorites, as well as a few special original songs.

At the first performance of the show in March of 2014, "This is 30" played to a sold out 54 Below and featured guest stars Sutton Foster and Jacob Watson. Joining the show this time will be back-up vocalists Amber Hurst-Martin ("Jesus Christ Superstar" National Tour), Janelle McDermoth ("Hair" National Tour) and Jasmin Richardson ("Dreamgirls" National Tour, "Memphis" National Tour).

"This Is 30" marks Erica Lustig's cabaret debut. She has previously been seen touring internationally with "Hair" and off-broadway in "National Pastime" and "Odyssey".

Heading the project as Music Director is Andrew David Sotomayor who, in additional to his extensive music direction credits has composed two musicals that were produced in New York City this year: "50 Shades of ****** Up" and "Committed". Many of the original songs in "This is 30" were composed by Andrew with additional lyrics by Erica Lustig. "This is 30" is directed by Michael Linden who makes his NYMF directing debut with the show.
