THE WIZ LIVE's Paul Tazewell Among Nominees for Costume Designer Guild Awards; Full List

Today, the Costume Designers Guild announced the nominations for its 18th annual CDG Awards. Winners of the seven competitive categories will be announced on February 23rd at a gala held at the Beverly Hilton in Hollywood.

Among the nominees is Paul Tazewell, for his work on NBC's THE WIZ LIVE!. Tazewell has received five Tony Award nominations, four Helen Hayes Awards, two Lucille Lortel Awards and the Theater Development Fund's Irene Sharaff Award in 1997. His costume design work includes HAMILTON, A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE, MEMPHIS, IN THE HEIGHTS, THE COLOR PURPLE (2005), A RAISIN IN THE SUN and CAROLINE, OR CHANGE.
