THE VOICE Finalist Joins Cast of New Musical HELD MOMENTARILY at NYMF

India Carney - the singer and actress who was a finalist on NBC-TV's "The Voice" earlier in 2015 - will return to the cast of the new musical HELD MOMENTARILY for The New York Musical Theatre Festival production from July 20 to July 27, 2015. Carney was in the original cast when the show premiered last year. HELD MOMENTARILY will run at PTC Performance Space (555 West 42nd Street in New York). The show features book, music and lyrics by Oliver Houser, was developed by Hunter Bird and includes additional material by Hunter Bird and James Zebooker. HELD MOMENTARILY is a poignant musical comedy about making connections, living in the moment, and moving on in life. Trapped on a stalled subway car, six strangers discover it's not just the train that's stuck. Oh, and one more thing: a woman just went into labor.

The complete cast of the show features Jordan Barrow, Ciaran Bowling, India Carney, Oliver Houser, Yael Rizowy, Geena Quintos and James Zebooker.

HELD MOMENTARILY was featured in the 2014 NY International Fringe Festival, and was subsequently chosen to extend Off-Broadway at the Fringe "Encore" series at the SoHo Playhouse that September. HELD MOMENTARILY features scenic design by Adam Rigg, costume design by Allison Dawe and lighting design by Elijah Schreiner.

HELD MOMENTARILY: A New Musical will be presented at PTC Performance Space (555 West 42nd Street in New York). The schedule is Monday, July 20 at 8:00 PM; Thursday, July 23 at 1:00 PM; Saturday, July 25 at 5:00 PM; Sunday, July 26 at 8:00 PM and Monday, July 27 at 12:00 Noon.
