New, original British musical 'The Stars That Remain' (#TSTR) marks the digital release of its premiere cast recording with footage of a new studio performance of tour de force duet, 'Ghost To Be Gone'.

A limited-edition CD was studio produced for the sold-out premiere in Birmingham last November (2018), but now the album is available to stream and download on all digital platforms. The soundtrack can be played on YouTube here: https://bit.ly/2Gv0qKX

Charlotte Middleton and Lucy Follows (Angela Fields and Poppy Hartson in the show's regional debut) reunited in the studio to perform the heartfelt number, expressing their shared desire to move on after loving and losing the same man.

Tim Benjamin, who played the character in question (Ben Fields), filmed new track 'Kinder', which addresses his own dilemma with being emotionally torn between the two women.

Birmingham singer-songwriter Sarah Riches also reprises her role as warm and loving wife and mum, Vivian Hartson, and sings new song 'On Our Way'.

All the videos, alongside previously unreleased rehearsal footage and a clip of selected reviews from the premiere, can be viewed on the new #TSTRmusical YouTube channel here https://bit.ly/30XiRQf

Songwriter and music producer Adrian Kimberlin unusually - if not uniquely - wrote the music, lyrics and book for The Stars That Remain, and the show won the Love Midlands Theatre Award 2019 for 'Best New Work (Play or Musical)'.

Adrian said: "I was delighted with how the show was received. Not only did we sell out all premiere performances but demand for tickets meant we could have easily added more dates - worry not, we shall return!

"Audiences responded fantastically, there were really supportive theatre reviews and the show attracted positive feedback from within the industry. Winning a regional theatre award was a juicy cherry on the cake!

"No room for complacency though, the journey continues and the latest rewrite to streamline the show has recently been completed. There is every ambition to take the show on tour, building on the initial success, and work is ongoing to secure investment and the right production team to do just that."
