Dixon Place presents a one-night-only performance of The QVC: A Backstage Pass, an world premiere of four original one acts written by Andrew Dahl, Andrew Hutcheson, Rachael Jenison, and Jonathan Spivey on Monday, September 28th at 7:30 PM on the Main Stage.

Andrew Dahl serves as executive producer, writer, director, and co-star of the award winning web series The Digressions. Andrew Hutcheson is an editor and creator of hundreds of quizzes for Sporcle which have been played by millions of fans world-wide. Rachael Jenison's play Mexico was workshopped last year as part of ESPA Drills at Primary Stages, and her plays have also been seen at Tiny Rhino, Jimmy's 43, and the One Minute Play Festival. Jonathan Spivey's musical comedy Murphy's Law, co-written with Andy Nagraj, was workshopped at Dixon Place last year and will receive its first full professional production in Pittsburgh this spring.

The cast for the evening includes Allison Layman (Broadway's Living on Love, P.S. 142's Together We Are Making A Poem In Honor Of Life), Kyle Eberlein (national tour of How The Grinch Stole Christmas), Teddy Yudain (Tectonic Theatre Project's El gato con botas), Robin Johnson (Cherry Lane's Half-Hearted), Maria Tholl (Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's As You Like It), Kushtrim Hoxha (The Winter's Tale at the Old Globe), Sean-Michael Wilkinson (A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Old Globe) and Clare Solly (Feelin' Good at Manhattan Repertory Theatre).

Here's how Dixon Place bills the one acts "The QVC has the hottest deals and the slickest steals, and for one night only they're available in four easy one act installments. No matter your height, your hairline, or what crimes you've committed, we have a product for you and tonight our hosts will struggle to sell it to you. Four stories, one night, supplies are limited."

Dixon Place is a New York City-based non-profit organization "founded in 1986 to provide a space for literary and performing artists to create and develop new works in front of a live audience." Their mission is "to support and nurture the development of new work and work in progress from diverse artists."
