The 8th season of New York Theatre Barn's New Works Series continues October 26, 2015 at the Daryl Roth Theatre with Pre-Premieres of three new musicals written by Drew Larimore/J. Oconer Navarro, Alex Rubin/Robbie Torres, and Sam Chanse/Bob Kelly.

The New Peggy, which has book and lyrics by Drew Larimore (Out of Iceland) and music and lyrics by J. Oconer Navarro (Michael John LaChiusa's First Daughter Suite), chronicles a sensational morning of a very ordinary secretary - detailing long-lost dreams, welcomed vengeance and, yes, the solace of sucking on hard candies. The presentation will be directed by Josh Hecht (Out of Iceland), and features Cyrilla Baer (The Adding Machine), Paul DeBoy (Mama Mia), Rachel Hardin, Deb Radloff, and Ben Chavez

Requiem has music and lyrics by Robbie Torres and a book by Alex Rubin. The new musical follows Michael who returns home for the first time in years to face the ghosts of his past, uncovering family secrets and unfinished business. The presentation features Seth Rettberg (Avenue Q), Sean Doherty (The Lightning Thief), Sam Heldt, Jessica Hendy, and Ariella Serur

Gilgamesh & the Mosquito, which has book and lyrics by Sam Chanse and music by Bob Kelly, is a new musical that explores the very human quest for answers and solid ground in a world that offers none. The presentation features Addi McDaniel, Jesse Manocherian, Hali Alspach, and Ryan Korell.
