Golden Globe Award® winner and Emmy Award® nominee Matthew Modine (the film Short Cuts, "And the Band Played On"), now making his Broadway debut in THE MIRACLE WORKER, will visit the WNBC "LX New York" studio live TODAY, Thursday, March 25 in the 5:00p half hour.
"LX New York" airs daily from 5:00 - 6:00p.m. on WNBC, Channel 4 in the New York Metropolitan area and New Jersey.

Set in Tuscumbia, Alabama in the 1880s, THE MIRACLE WORKER tells the story of the young Helen Keller, who became blind and deaf after a childhood illness, and the extraordinary woman, Annie Sullivan, who taught her to communicate with the world.
