The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) and Melodion Theatre present The Hills Are Alive!. Performances will take place from July 25 through July 26 at The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center, 480 W. 42nd Street. Official Opening is set for July 25.
The Hills Are Alive! follows the story of a singing family who, trying to escape the Nazis, decide to cross the Alps into Switzerland. They encounter many obstacles along the way, including wild animals, strange mountain people, and sibling rivalry--all the while singing their way through any trouble. Will they survive? Set in the style of Broadway's Golden Age, this show playfully lampoons a timeless classic. The Hills Are Alive! was presented at the 2012 New York International Fringe Festival and premiered at the 2012 Westchester Square Arts Festival.
