What is the first Broadway show you ever saw?
It was Cathy Rigby in PETER PAN. I was doing theatre for a long time already, and when I went to see that show I realized that this was what I was gonna do. I was about 11, and when she flew over the audience in the curtain call, I was like ‘That’s the coolest thing I’ve ever seen!’
What is your most unique pre-show ritual?
Before every show I kiss

What is your most memorable "the show must go on" moment?Three years ago I was performing on the Rosie Cruise and it was going to Canada. I was in upstate New York with my entire family for my cousin’s wedding and they told me to come the next day with my passport to the cruise dock. For whatever reason it never occurred to me that I would need my passport, and I’m in New York with my ENTIRE family- anyone who could have gotten it to me from Virginia was there. So I panicked for hours and finally we called a friend from home and paid them a lot of money to break into our home and drive the passport overnight to the dock. Whoops!
What is the one role you want to play before you die?‘Guy’ in ONCE. I’m a songwriter in real life and I identify with a lot of things that he goes through in that show.
Who is your Broadway crush?Angela Lansbury, hands down!
