Welcome to THE FRIDAY SIX: Q&As with your favorite Broadway stars. Want to know what hooked them to a career in the theater? Their dream roles? Their Broadway crushes? Read on!
In this week's edition, we caught up with Caitlin Kinnunen, who is starring as 'Carolyn' in The Bridges of Madison County- currently playing at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.
What is the first Broadway show you ever saw?
SPRING AWAKENINGWhat is your most unique pre-show ritual?
I have to be at places when our stage manager calls 5 minutes till places. I'm always early.
What is your most memorable "the show must go on" moment?
I was in a show once where I had a quick change that required me to change my wig. Needless to say, it didn't go as well as it could have and throughout the following scene (a dance number) my wig proceeded to slip further and further back. By the end of the scene the bangs on the wig were right on the top of my head, not on my forehead like they should have been (I looked a little like Kristen Wiig's tiny hands character on SNL). The looks that I got from my cast mates were looks of horror and disbelief.
