Welcome to THE FRIDAY SIX: Q&As with your favorite Broadway stars. Want to know what hooked them to a career in the theater? Their dream roles? Their Broadway crushes? Read on!

In this week's edition, we caught up with Cortney Worfson, who is starring as 'Nicola' in Kinky Boots- currently playing at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

What is the first Broadway show you ever saw?

The first Broadway show I ever saw was MOVIN' OUT. I was on a senior-class trip in high school- my first time in NYC, and it was incredible. I also saw THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE and AIDA on that trip. I remember making the decision then to move here after college, and I've never looked back!

What is your most unique pre-show ritual?

Kale! I eat Just Salad on 49th Street before almost every show. I have the reusable bowl, the discount card, they deliver to the Hirschfeld, it's simply the BEST thing to happen to Hell's Kitchen! And for some reason, it makes me a better actor...

What is your most memorable "the show must go on" moment?

I was playing 'Wednesday' on the 1st National Tour of THE ADDAMS FAMILY and my co-star Brian Justin Crum and I fumbled up some lines at the top of Act II. I went immediately to the "white-room" and he and I stood ad-libbing non-sense for what seemed like an eternity before I eventually just shouted, "I'm going!" and left the stage. The real kicker was that we were playing Kansas City Starlight, so we didn't just mess up in front of several hundred people, we messed up in front of 8,000!!

What is the one role you want to play before you die?

'Belle' in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST... I just want to be a Disney Princess! I got my Equity Card playing a 'Silly Girl' in the show at The MUNY and ever since, I've been dying to play the role. The Broadway production closed just two-months after I moved to NYC, so anyone wanna mount a revival??

Who is your Broadway crush?

My crush is Broadway Star Curtis Holbrook! He can be seen this season in his TENTH Broadway show, IF/THEN. I'm lucky enough to play the role of Girlfriend in his real life. C+C

Where can people stalk you online?

Twitter and Instagram for sure: @CortneyWolfson. My website cortneywolfson.com is undergoing a HUGE over-haul so stay tuned! I also have some new, old, and really-old videos up on YouTube. Look me up there to see the old pixie-haircut days.
