Welcome to THE FRIDAY SIX: Q&As With Your Favorite Broadway Stars. Want to know what hooked them to a career in the theater? Their dream roles? Their Broadway crushes? Read on!

In this week's edition, we caught up with Jay Armstrong Johnson, who is starring as 'Greg Wilhote' in Hands on a Hardbody- currently in previews at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. Opening night is set for March 21, 2013.

What is the first Broadway show you ever saw?

I can't remember for sure what my very first Broadway show was, but my very first trip to NYC I saw 42nd Street, Les Miserables, and Thoroughly Modern Millie. That's when Gavin became my hero.

What is your most unique pre-show ritual?

At 5 to places, the boys of my dressing do push ups, and then at places we have a "hands in" moment. Followed very shortly by a honey herb Ricola and a slap of the longhorn.

What is your most memorable "the show must go on" moment?

There was this one time in Catch Me If You Can when Aaron Tveit wasn't feeling 100% and I was warned to keep an ear out, but the show just went on... CAUSE HE'S A MACHINE!! #respect

What is the one role you want to play before you die?

Floyd Collins. I played him already in college at NYU Steinhardt, but I definitely want to play him professionally before I die.

Who is your Broadway crush?

Laura Dreyfuss. I saw her go on for Girl in Once, and haven't been able to stop thinking about her. I think I'm in love. I need to follow her on twitter. How have I not done that already?

Where can people stalk you online?

I'm on Twitter and Instagram @Jay_A_Johnson. It's a hassle to type, I know, sorry. Currently working on a better Facebook page, and possibly a website, but I'm on the fence about it. Thoughts?
