THE DISCOVERY OF KING TUT NYC Extends Into May

The Discovery of King Tut, the thrilling recreation of Tutankhamen's tomb and the treasures found within, will host two special "Family Sundays," scheduled for March 20th and April 10th. On these dates, visitors to The Discovery of King Tut will have to opportunity to participate in special tours, readings, activities and workshops with visiting Egyptologists and other special guests. All Family Sunday activities are included with the price of admission on Sunday March 20th and April 10th. Theupdated schedule of activities is as follows:

Sunday, March 20th

11am, 12pm & 1pm:

Family Tours

In these drop-in tours of our galleries, Egyptologist Dr. Phyllis Saretta guides visitors around the exhibition, telling wonderful stories about the Golden King and his treasures.

2-4pm:

The Mummy Makers of Egypt

Egyptologist Tamara Bower will read from her new book, "The Mummy-Makers of Egypt", and will lead craft activities featuring the mummies, hieroglyphics, and more.

11.30am to 12.30pm & 2.30-3.30pm:

Walking Act

Take a photo with "Lady Pharaoh" Gloria Gray. An actress and entertainer from Munich, Germany, Gloria will be visiting New York for a photo shoot with Manuel Jakob in our exhibition.

Sunday, April 10th
