The Actors Fund announced today that the Special Benefit Performance of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, December 7 at 1 pm. The Special Benefit Performance of THE BOOK OF MORMON was originally scheduled for Sunday, August 28, but was cancelled due to the shutdown of Broadway theatres during Hurricane Irene.

Ticketbuyers who purchased through The Actors Fund can either attend on the new date, or request a full refund.

The Special Benefit Performance has been added to the show's schedule, with all proceeds going to The Actors Fund. The company of THE BOOK OF MORMON will be donating their time and talent to raise funds for the entertainment charity.

THE BOOK OF MORMON is playing at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre, 230 West 49th Street. Premium seating for the benefit performance, including a post-show reception hosted by Brian Stokes Mitchell, is still available for $500. Premium seating without reception is $350.
