THE BIG FAMILY QUIZ THING to Test Family Smarts at Symphony Space

Just Kidding at Symphony Space is proud to present once again The Big Family Quiz Thing, a fast-moving, interactive live quiz game for adults and their children (ages 8 and up) on Sunday, January 22, at 2 p.m.

The whole family will work as a team competing against other families during this multimedia, live quiz show spectacular, featuring fast and funny trivia. Quizmaster extraordinaire "EdP" (Eric de Picciotto) will lead the fun, and everyone becomes a part of this game of skill and good humor. Plus, the audience members may win loads of great prizes.

Over the course of six rounds, children and their parents team up to show off their knowledge of topics including history, sports, art, animals, geography, pop culture, and more. Loads of great prizes are in store for the audience, from Insomnia Cookies, Monkey Do Yoga, Bright Kids NYC, Children's Museum of the Arts, Modern Pinball NYC, and more. The Big Family Quiz Thing is sponsored by MommyNearest. "This is a great way for kids and parents to work together as a team," says Rory Halperin, editor-in-chief of Mommy Nearest. "Everyone is guaranteed to learn something new during the quiz show, in addition to having a ton of fun." Another BFQT event is planned for Sunday, March 19.

The Big Family Quiz Thing is the kid-friendly edition of the Big Quiz Thing. Created by Quizmaster Noah Tarnow, the BQT is a premier trivia game show event in San Francisco, Boston, and New York. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door. Family 4 packs are just $40. Note: This event runs approximately 2 hours and is recommended for ages 8 and up.

Curiosity and Wonder: Symphony Space's Just Kidding series, now in its twelfth season, offers interactive music, theatre and dance experiences for every family with children ages 2 and up.
