Manila, Philippines, November 11, 2013--Atlantis Productions closes its 14th season with Andrew Lippa (music and lyrics), Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice's (book) "The Addams Family." Directed by Bobby Garcia, the production stars Eula Valdes, Arnel Ignacio, K-La Rivera, and Ryan Gallagher.

The musical runs at Meralco Theater from Friday, November 15 to Sunday, December 1.

"The Addams Family" brings to life the darkly delirious world of the famous characters created by Charles Addams: Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Grandma, Wednesday, Pugsley, and Lurch.

Its production notes say, "The musical tells the story of Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, who has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart, and young man from a respectable family; a man her parents have never met. Wednesday confides in her father (Gomez Addams) and begs him not to tell her mother (Morticia Addams). Now, Gomez must do something he's never done before: keep a secret from his beloved wife. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday's 'normal' boyfriend and his parents."

Headlining the star-studded cast are film, television, and stage actress Eula Valdes (Morticia), last seen on stage as Claudia in Maury Yeston's "Nine," and Arnel Ignacio (Gomez), last seen on stage in Terrence McNally and David Yazbek's "The Full Monty."

K-La Rivera ("Disney's Aladdin," "Carrie") plays Wednesday Addams opposite Ryan Gallagher's Lucas Beineke.

It features choreography by Cecile Martinez, set design by Faust Peneyra, lighting design by Dong Calingacion, costume design by Pepsi Herrera, musical direction by Ceejay Javier, and vocal coaching by ManMan Angsico.

Theatrical Rights Worldwide has granted the license for the Manila run of "The Addams Family."
