On December 10, members of the cast of the holiday musical hit, That Time of the Year, will be performing songs from the show at Barnes & Noble, Lincoln Triangle. They will be joined by Laurence Holzman & Felicia Needleman, the Kleban Award-winning creators of the musical revue, to sign copies of the newly released original off-Broadway cast recording of the show. The event, which is free and open to the public, will begin with a live musical performance at 6:00 p.m. Barnes & Noble, Lincoln Triangle is located in Manhattan at 1972 Broadway, at 66th Street.

To further celebrate the album's release, the York Theatre, where the show premiered in 2006, will be presenting That Time of the Year in concert the weekend of December 18. Ann Harada (Avenue Q), Thom Christopher Warren (The Lion King) and Josh Grisetti (would-be star of the recent ill-fated revival of Broadway Bound) will join original cast members Bridget Beirne and Kerri Jill Garbis for five performances at the York, under the direction of Annette Jolles, who staged the original production. Matt Castle will serve as musical director.

Performances of That Time of the Year in concert will be Friday December 18 at 8:00 p.m., Saturday, December 19 at 2:30 and 8:00 p.m., and Sunday, December 20 at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. at the York Theatre, 619 Lexington Avenue, at 54th Street. All seats are $37.50. For tickets, visit www.YorkTheatre.org or call (212) 935-5820.

That Time of the Year is a unique musical revue celebrating both Christmas and Hanukkah with a variety of original songs that explore the joys and anxieties that inevitably accompany the holiday season. Warmth, humor and an eclectic musical style make That Time of the Year appeal to audiences of all ages. In reviewing the original production, Neil Genzlinger of The New York Times called That Time of the Year "downright awe-inspiring," "hysterical" and "full of good cheer;" Michael Dale of Broadway World said the show is "terrifically funny, smart, tuneful and completely winning holiday fare.... Audiences will want to see it for a perfectly swell night of holiday wit and warmth;" and Peter Filichia of TheatreMania wrote That Time of the Year is "a terrific little show. I sat there pleased, knowing that from now on, I'm going to see this show each and every December; it's that good, and somebody, someplace is going to be smart enough to do it."

That Time of the Year features lyrics by Holzman & Needleman and music by Sanford Marc Cohen, Nicholas Levin, Donald Oliver, Kyle Rosen, Brad Ross, Mark Wherry and Wendy Wilf. The recording, released in November by JAY Records, features the vocal talents of Beirne and Garbis, as well as Erin Maguire, Jonathan Rayson and Nick Verina.

That Time of the Year is currently available for licensing from Theatrical Rights Worldwide.
