Since 2002, Swarovski has been adding sparkling glamour to the celebrated catwalk extravaganza, the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, by exclusively providing the lavish crystals that adorn the costumes, jewelry, accessories and footwear by Nicholas Kirkwood. This year, 20 eye-popping, custom creations will be modeled by some of Victoria's Secrets' most famous Angels, including Lily Aldridge, Alessandra Ambrosio, Karlie Kloss, Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo, and Candice Swanepoel.

With the bar set higher every year, the 2013 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show will, for the first time, look to the future with the sparkling Swarovski costume created using 3D printing. This innovative process has brought about a paradigm shift that has changed the way the world thinks about design, pushing the boundaries of manufacturing beyond the imagination. Renowned for being at the forefront of innovation, Swarovski, together with Victoria's Secret, has incorporated this technology in an incredible high-tech costume that will be seen in the breathtaking Snow Angel section of the show. Designed by architect Bradley Rothenberg in conjunction with world-leading 3D printing company, Shapeways, the costume was made to precisely fit Lindsay Ellingson from a 3D scan of her form. Next, 3D computer printing technology was used to create the geometric filigree characteristics of the design's snowflake motif that will be encrusted with millions of illuminating Swarovski crystals.

Swarovski not only dazzles on the runway, but also in-store. In addition to the spectacular creations specially made for the show, exquisite lingerie from the Victoria's Secret Designer Collection, which are embellished with Swarovski crystals, are also available for purchase at VictoriasSecret.com.

"For over 100 years, Swarovski has been the first to bring the finest products, services and innovations to the marketplace," said Alexander Wellhoefer, Senior Vice President, Swarovski North America. "As the only crystal company that ensures our partners are always on trend and ahead of the market, the strength of the Swarovski brand combined with the creativity of Victoria's Secret not only results in cutting edge designs for the runway, but also captivates the consumer with collections made with Swarovski crystals at retail."

"Swarovski has become an essential collaborator and vital ingredient to the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show team. After working with Swarovski for over 11 years I can't even imagine doing the VS Fashion Show without them," said Monica Mitro, EVP Brand Communications & Events, Victoria's Secret. "They bring sparkle and brilliance to our runway outfits and truly help to make the show the incredible fantasy that it is."

"Shapeways is thrilled to help make the 2013 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show even more dazzling in partnership with Swarovski," said Peter Weijmarshausen, CEO of Shapeways. "Shapeways' 3D printing technology brings an unprecedented design element to the famed Victoria's Secret wings, showing the immense opportunity 3D printing brings to creating beautiful, customizable items. This partnership helps push the boundaries and show what's possible for the 3D printing industry, within fashion and beyond."

The 2013 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show will air on Tuesday, December 10th at 10/9C on the CBS television network. This year, it will feature musical performances by Taylor Swift, Fall Out Boy, Neon Jungle, and A Great Big World, pink carpet interviews, supermodel profiles, and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the world's most celebrated fashion show.
