Tony Award-winner Sutton Foster will make her solo concert debut at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street) this winter, appearing in June in January at the intimate downtown venue on January 16th, 2006.  She will perform the show twice, at 7 PM and 9:30 PM.

According to press notes, the show is a "collection of hot summer sunshine songs to take you away from the dreary grey of winter."

Foster, who will next star in the Broadway-bound musical The Drowsy Chaperone, won a Tony Award for another musical that tongue-in-cheekily embraced the 20s--Thoughly Modern Millie; she also netted Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Astaire Awards for her work.  Recently, she received a Tony Award nomination for her performance in Little Women, and has also appeared on Broadway in The Scarlet Pimpernel, Annie, Grease and Les Miserables as well as the Actors' Fund benefit concerts of Funny Girl and Chess. Other credits include Dorian, South Pacific, The Three Musketeers and The Will Rogers Follies.

Tickets, which are $30, can be purchased by calling (212) 239-6200 or by visiting Joe's Pub's box office.  Visit www.joespub.com for more information.
