Hudson Stage recently announced that its fall production, the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, RABBIT HOLE, by Kimberly Akimbo and "Shrek" playwright David Lindsay Abaire, will be its fall mainstage production. Today, the theater company has announced the cast will be completed by Susannah Schulman, who will star alongside Tony Carlin (Mary Stuart) as the heartbroken parents the take center stage in the piece.

RABBIT HOLE will be directed by HSC producer Dan Foster of Mary's Wedding and Murderers. Denise Bessette and Olivia Sklar will act as Executive Producers.

Previews will begin Friday, November 6th, with an opening date of Saturday, November 7th. RABBIT HOLE will run through Saturday, November 21st, with shows on weekends. There will be three special matinee performances on Sunday, November 8th at 3pm, Sunday, November 15th at 3pm, and Saturday, November 21st at 3pm. The November 15th performance will be followed by a Q&A for all those in attendence. Performances will take place at the Woodward Hall Theatre, located at Pace University.

RABBIT HOLE IS "a beautifully observed play...blessed with custoMary Grace and wit..." says Ben Brantley of the NY Times, and the LA Times says RABBIT HOLE has "the well-observed poignancy of a memorable short story".

The additional cast includes actors Lucy Martin, an HSC favorite from "Murderers", actress Theo Allyn and newcomer Brandon Gill, a recent graduate of Juilliard School.

The HSC Design Team includes Lighting designer Andrew Gmoser, Set designer Andreea Mincic, Sound Designer Jon Kadela and Costume Designer Joanne Haas. RABBIT HOLE will also include Joel Goss at Associate Producer and Eileen Arnold as Production Stage Manager.

This project is made possible by Pace University and funding from ArtsWestchester.
