Susan Boyle's First Single From Upcoming Debut Album To Be 'Moon River'

The UK Daily Mirror has revealed that Susan Boyle, who became a worldwide overnight singing sensation after appearing on the Britain's Got Talent television show, will release a version of Moon River for her first single.

The Academy Award-winning song, penned by Henry Mancini, which was originally sung by Audrey Hepburn in the film Breakfast at Tiffany's, will be the first single from her forthcoming debut album.

The hope is for Boyle to release her album by the end of the year. Other cover songs set to appear on the album are Cry Me A River and a Rolling Stones song. There is also word her classic rendition of 'I Dream A Dream' will be on the release.

The record is described as a biographical album "about the music that she has listened to over the years and feels emotionally attached to", reports the Daily Mirror. To read the full article read here.

As expected, Susan Boyle was an audience favorite on the Britain's Got Talent tour, the singer received a huge ovation the minute she hit the stage. Boyle set consisted of her signature song, "I Dreamed A Dream" from Les Miserables, and "Memory" the famous CATS hit.

Susan Boyle wowed the judges with her performance in the auditions for last season of Britains Got Talent, singing "I Dreamed A Dream" from Les Miserables.

Boyle, who's "nearly 48," talked about her cat, and joked around with the judges, noting that she had "never been kissed." The entire audience prepared for the worst as she began her song, but, once she starting singing the crowd and judges were transported by her emotional and theatrical take on the number!
