Support Artists Striving to End Poverty: Bid to Meet HAMILTON's Jonathan Groff

When Brian d'Arcy James abdicated the throne of HAMILTON's King George III to star in Broadway's SOMETHING ROTTEN!, the search for a royal replacement ended when theatre favorite Jonathan Groff agreed to wear the crown. As the baffled monarch across the sea, he stops the show regularly with his comic rendition of Lin-Manuel Miranda's Brit-pop breakup spoof "You'll Be Back," and its two reprises.

Charitybuzz is now hosting an online auction, where the highest bidder receives two VIP tickets for a performance of HAMILTON and a backstage tour with Jonathan Groff after the show.

The new musical Hamilton has book, music and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award-winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda, who also plays the title role. The musical is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and music direction and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire.
