"Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown"
Joining the excitement of this event, THIRTEEN's comprehensive weekly broadcast and online showcase for the arts, SundayArts, will offer viewers an up-close look of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week activities at its new Damrosch Park location at Lincoln Center. The two primetime specials, SundayArts Fashion at Lincoln Center, will air September 9 and 23 at 8 p.m. Also, beginning on September 8th and running through the 17th, one-minute reports will air nightly spotlighting the latest news from Fashion at Lincoln Center.

The specials will be hosted by Paula Zahn, a celebrated presence in network news for 30 years. Christina Ha, longtime television fashion commentator also joins the program as correspondent in the field.

At press time, the September 9 program is scheduled to include an interview with Lincoln Center Director of Fashion Stephanie Winston Wolkoff; a profile of the Metropolitan Opera costume shop as it prepares for its production of "The Ring"; an overview of Fall 2010 runway trends; a profile of a designer Betsey Johnson; and a Fashion's Night Out preview with, Steven Kolb, executive director of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).

The September 23 special is slated to feature a profile of designer Carolina Herrera; a segment on costume preparations for the musical, "Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown" at Lincoln Center Theater and the next season of the New York City Ballet; a report on fashion exhibitions at museums around town, including exhibits at the Museum at FIT, the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts and the Museum of the City of New York; an interview with filmmaker John Waters on style; and a critics roundtable on next season's runway trends.

Paula Zahn is currently the co-host, with Philippe de Montebello, of SundayArts. She is also an avid arts enthusiast and an accomplished cellist.

Christina Ha, no stranger to the world of fashion, has hosted Full Frontal Fashion on WNYCTV and UltraHD. She appears weekly on SundayArts with local arts and culture News.

SundayArts provides the tri-state audience with a unique overview of New York City's unparalleled cultural offerings, encompassing not only the performing arts but the visual arts as well. Each broadcast includes news, profiles, and magazine-style segments covering New York City's vast array of museums, artists, gallery exhibitions, and live performances, all in tandem with an extensive web site (www.thirteen.org/sundayarts).

The morning after the broadcast, the specials will be available for viewing online at http://www.thirteen.org/sundayarts/.
