Launch party for Kurt Boone's new book "Subway Beats: Celebrating New York City Buskers" and photo exhibition at Lomography Gallery Store NYC. The photo exhibition will showcase photos from the book through the month of November. In addition to being a freelance writer and independent author Kurt Boone has also worked as a foot messenger (the fastest in the city) for over 20 years. Profiled in all of the city's major newspapers and a contributor to PBS "Metro Focus" and "Narratively", Boone is the author or several books including "Looking For Myself", "Inside Grand Central Terminal", "On The Subway", "New York Alleycats", "Urban Theory: Critical Thoughts In America" "Messenger Poet". and "Asphalt Warrior."
