On Sunday, June 15, 2008, StudentsLive and the hit Broadway musical CHICAGO are pleased to present "Behind the Bars: He Had It Comin!," an exclusive presentation, brunch reception and show package hosted by real life "Billy Flynn" Joe Tacopina and Emmy Award-winning investigative reporter Monica Morales.

"Behind the Bars: He Had It Comin!" kicks off at 12:30 p.m. at Da Marino Restaurant (220 West 49th Street) with a special brunch presentation featuring Mr. Tacopina and Ms. Morales and CHICAGO cast members, as they discuss the powerful and evocative themes and issues presented onstage in CHICAGO, including the media's manipulation of the public, the public's fascination with celebrities in the criminal justice system, and more.

The brunch will be followed by the 2:30 p.m. matinee performance of CHICAGO at the Ambassador Theatre (219 West 49th Street).

Famed New York attorney Joe Tacopina is a frequent commentator on FOX News, Tru-TV and MSNBC. He has taken part in several recent high-profile cases, having represented Joran van der Sloot and his father in the investigation into the disappearance of Natalee Holloway; former Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik; rapper Foxy Brown; and the family of Imette St. Guillen, criminal justice student who was abducted and killed by a New York City bar bouncer.

Monica Morales joined the WNBC NewsChannel 4 team in August 2004 as a general assignment reporter.  She has received a National News and Documentary Emmy Award and an Edward R. Murrow Investigative Reporting Award for a three-month undercover investigation of the misuse of tax dollars by state lottery workers.

StudentsLive's ongoing commitment is to create highly interactive and engaging workshops, events and programs for audiences of all ages, in partnership with the best theater the country has to offer – Broadway.

The mission of StudentsLive is to create and inspire newer, better and wider audiences and artists alike, and to provide exclusive inside access to Broadway shows through its quality, award-winning education and outreach programs.

Now celebrating eleven record-breaking years on the Great White Way, the Tony Award-winning musical CHICAGO is currently the eighth longest-running production in Broadway history, as well as Broadway's longest-running musical revival…and it still shows no sign of ever slowing down!

Set amidst the razzle-dazzle decadence of the 1920s, CHICAGO is the story of Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who maliciously murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago's slickest criminal lawyer to transform her malicious crime into a barrage of sensational headlines, the likes of which might just as easily be ripped from today's tabloids.
