Tarzan opened May 10, 2006 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street). The show is presented by Disney Theatrical Productions.The original cast recording of Tarzan was released on June 27 by Walt Disney Records and is available now in retail stores nationwide as well as on iTunes.Tarzan features music and lyrics by Academy Award- and seven-time Grammy Award winner Collins , who made his Broadway composing debut with this production. The score includes the five songs Collins wrote for Disney's 1999 animated film, Tarzan ("Two Worlds," "Son of Man," "Trashin' the Camp," "Strangers Like Me" and the Academy Award-winning "You'll Be In My Heart"), as well as new songs that Collins has written for the Broadway musical, including "Who Better Than Me," "For the First Time," "Everything That I Am," "Waiting for This Moment," "No Other Way," "I Need to Know," "Sure as Sun Turns to Moon," "Different" and "Like No Man I've Ever Seen."
