Author / storyteller Thomas R. Pryor ("I Hate the Dallas Cowboys: tales of a scrappy New York boyhood" - YBK Publishers) brings his "Stoops to Nuts," storytelling show back to his beloved neighborhood, Yorkville, for "Where's Poppa" - a Father's Day celebration on Friday, June 17th at Ryan's Daughter in Manhattan at 7:00pm.
Pryor's guests will include Colin Dempsey (Supersmall & The Liar Show) , Joe Dettmore (Daily Show, Creative Director), Nicole Ferraro (NYTimes & Cornelia Street Cafe), Yorkville-born poet and playwright Tim McGillicuddy ("The Irish Play" at Irish Arts Center and Circle in the Square Theatre) and singer/songwriter/storyteller Una McGillicuddy. Pryor's passion is preserving the history of Yorkville and the Upper East Side through storytelling, writing and photography. His play about the neighborhood, "City Boy" will preview in February 2017 Copies of his work "I Hate the Dallas Cowboys" and his acclaimed 2012 photographic portfolio, "River to River ~ New York Scenes from a Bicycle," available for purchase.
