On Tuesday, May 19, 16-time Grammy Award winning musician and composer Sting will bring The Last Ship back to New York City for one-night-only when he performs songs from his Tony Award-nominated score in a uniquely intimate venue, The Heath at The McKittrick Hotel (542 West 27th Street), home of Sleep No More. Proceeds from this concert event will benefit The Actors Fund.
Sting will perform two shows, with doors opening at 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m, joined by special guest Jimmy Nail, as well as band members from The Last Ship's original Broadway orchestra including 2015 Tony Award nominee Rob Mathes (Musical Director, Piano), Joe Bonadio (Percussion), Chris Layer (Wind Instruments), Mick McAuley (Accordian), Paul Woodiel (Fiddle), and Pete Donovan (Bass), with Jo Lawry on vocals.

The Last Ship, named Best Musical of 2014 by USA Today, is nominated for two 2015 Tony Awards for Best Original Score (Sting) and Best Orchestrations (Rob Mathes). It has also four Drama Desk Award nominations (Outstanding Music, Outstanding Orchestrations, Outstanding Design in a Musical, and Outstanding Choreography).
The show's Original Broadway Cast Recording, which was released on Universal Music Classics and debuted at #1 on Billboard's Cast Albums Chart, is available in stores everywhere and for digital download on iTunes.

Featuring music and lyrics by Sting, a book by John Logan and Brian Yorkey, choreography by Steven Hoggett and direction by Joe Mantello, the musical's original Broadway cast included Michael Esper, Rachel Tucker, Jimmy Nail, Fred Applegate, Aaron Lazar, Sally Ann Triplett and Collin Kelly-Sordelet.
