Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV) is set for a special one-night-only presentation of their 2014 "Stories In The Key Of Me" outreach program to the seriously ill children and families at Ronald McDonald House New York on Thursday December 18th, 5pm. Joining the roster of Broadway composers/songwriters this year is 16-time Grammy award winner STING and Pulitzer Prize award recipient Brian Yorkey. STING is currently performing in his acclaimed new Broadway musical,"The Last Ship" at the Neil Simon Theatre for which he composed the music and lyrics and Brian Yorkey and John Logan penned the book.

Ronald McDonald House New York's "Stories in the Key of Me" is an annual program where BIV matches a Broadway composing team and songwriters with patients battling pediatric cancer and their caregivers. Over a three-week period, the composer/lyricist team meets regularly with the child and family. On the fourth week,a private performance is held at the Ronald McDonald House New York for all the children and families, introducing the original works, which are performed by members of BIV and the Broadway Community.

"In our world there are only a few strands of human activity that can change the world in and of themselves. One is music and its ability to transform, inspire and call us all to a higher level of existence. Another, are the souls of our children open, inquiring, full of hope. The BIV Outreach Program embodies both of these - it inspires our children, in song, to continue to hope and to change the world. " -Elizabeth Fletcher BIV Board Member; Senior Fellow, NYU Wagner; Managing Director, Fletcher Consulting
