Steven Pasquale & Chloe Sevigny Join Netflix's Psychological Thriller from DAMAGES Creators

According to Deadline, Broadway's Steven Pasquale and Chloe Sevigny have joined the cast of Netflix's untitled psychological thriller from the creators of DAMAGES, Todd A. Kessler, Daniel Zelman and Glenn Kessler.

The project "is set in the Florida Keys and centers on a close-knit family of four adult siblings (Kyle Chandler, Ben Mendelsohn, Linda Cardellini, Norbert Leo Butz) whose secrets and scars are revealed when their black sheep brother (Mendelsohn) returns home. Sevigny plays Chelsea, who has a romantic past with Mendelsohn's character and whose brother Eric (Jamie McShane), out on parole, is living with her in their shack of a home. Pasquale plays a potential romantic interest for Cardellini's character."

Set to begin production in early 2014, the series explores the wounds and emotional demons that lie at the core of a contemporary American family. Kessler, Zelman and Kessler will serve as executive producers of the one-hour drama that will be produced by Sony Pictures Television for Netflix.

Pasquale's Broadway credits include The Bridges of Madison County, reasons to be pretty (Tony nomination - Best Play) Off Broadway: Far From Heaven (Playwrights Horizons), Tony Kushner's The Intelligent Homosexual's Guide to Capitalism and Socialism... (Public), Soldier's Play (Second Stage), Fat Pig(MCC), A Man of No Importance (LCT, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle nominations), Beautiful Child(Vineyard), Spitfire Grill (Playwrights Horizons), Spinning Into Butter (LCT), Wild Party (MTC). Originated the role of Fabrizio in Adam Guettel's The Light in the Piazza. Sevigny recently completed a stint on Portlandia and AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM, as well as a role in the much talked about biopic "Lovelace," directed by Ron Epstein, and starred in "The Wait" with Jena Malone. In 2011 she wrapped five seasons on the critically acclaimed and highly popular HBO series "Big Love" as Nikki Henderson, for which she won a Golden Globe award for Best Supporting Actress. Other recent film credits include "Mr. Nice," "Barry Munday," "My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done," "The Killing Room" and "Zodiac."
