Steve Rannazzisi to Return to Comix At Foxwoods, 1/16-18

Actor and comedian Steve Rannazzisi will make his triumphant return to the Comix At Foxwoods stage in January 2014. From January 16 to 18, fans can take in shows nightly at 8 p.m., followed by a 10:30 p.m. 'Nasty' show on his final night in town.

Tickets are on sale now and are $28 for general advance admission ($38 day of) with VIP advance admission tickets available for $56 ($66 day of). A two-drink minimum applies to all tickets. The show is 21+ and is for mature audiences only.

Rannazzisi is likely best known for his role as "Kevin," the League Commissioner on FXX's hit show "The League." The semi-scripted comedy, now in its fifth season, is a tentpole for the new FXX network after it helped to successfully launch comedy on the FX channel. The League follows the quirky members of fantasy football league, who including Rannazzisi, are played by actors Paul Scheer, Nick Kroll, Mark Duplass, Katie Aselton and Jon Lajoie.

In addition to the ongoing series (rumored to be picked up through 2015), Rannazzisi will premiere his first ever one-hour Comedy Central special, the uncensored "Manchild," at midnight on Saturday, Nov. 16. The special will identify with his honest and hilarious tales of pot cookie airport security paranoia, failed dirty talk with the wife, the legend of the pizza delivery drug dealer and more. Taped at The Civic Theater in New Orleans, the special shows that he is a stand-up husband, dad, and Manchild above all else.

After his success on MTV's hit show, Punk'd, Ranazzisi was made a series regular on ABC's Big Day, before being cast yet again by ABC as a lead in See Jayne Run. He is also currently starring in the second season of his web series "Daddy Knows Best," while additional past credits include spots on Samantha Who?, Kitchen Confidential, HBO's Sex in the City and NBC's Third Watch. He has also performed on Comedy Central's Premium Blend and appeared in the feature films "Paul Blart: Mall Cop," "Imagine That," "Summer of Sam" and "For Your Consideration."
